The night saw performances from headline artistes, American rapper Meek Mill, Nigerian singers P- Square and Tiwa Savage.

Amongst all these performances, one artist whose performance stirred enormous controversy was Tiwa Savage.

The ‘Koroba’ songstress did not only take the tumultuous crowd of this year’s concert into a state of frenzy with her racy outfit and performance but at a point, she took a break in between her performance and addressed them.

Looks like everyday, more of these young marriages break. The latest couple to be facing break up rumours is actors Osas Ighodaro Ajibade and Gbenro Ajibade.

The young couple got married in 2015 and welcomed a child the next year but it looks like all is not well between them.

Yesterday October 26th was Osas Ighodaro's birthday and unlike years before, her husband Gbenro didn't acknowledge the birthday. A search through his IG page shows he has unfollowed Osas and removed a lot of her photos from his IG page. Gbenro has also not publicly acknowledged his wife most part of this year.

Information reaching us says he relocated to the US a while back while Osas stayed in Nigeria. Osas is still following her husband on IG and still has his name as her surname. Hope things work out for them.

Gospel Artiste To Headline "Girl Talk " Concert 2018

This year’s edition of the annual ‘Girl Talk’ musical concert will be held in December this year at the National Theatre in Accra.

According to reports available , this year’s event will be headlined by one of the veteran gospel artistes instead of the usual secular artiste.

According to the organisers (Palm Media), the headline artiste will be announced at the launch of the event in November.

The reports further said the members of the planning committee of the ‘Girl Talk’ concert are yet to choose one out of the five names of the gospel artistes submitted to them by the organisers of the event.

The committee is expected to submit the name of the headline artiste to the organisers by the end of this month before the press launch of the event.

When the organisers were contacted, they couldn’t corroborate the story, but only stated that a press conference will soon be hosted to officially launch and announce the headline artiste.

Bulldog Sacked From Zylofon Media?

Reports making rounds suggest that Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson popularly known Bulldog has been sacked from Zylofon Media as their A & R manager.

It’s unclear what he did exactly but our sources say it was not anything related to his work because he was very professional about how he went about his work. It’s however surprising that, Bulldog who was signed with some $30,000 plus a brand new car has been asked to leave Zylofon Media.

Bulldog was signed somewhere in November 2017 and has been sacked barely a year after joining the giant media House.

The source emphasized that he was sacked by Zylofon Boss, Nana Appiah Mensah .

The battle for superiority between Mavins female singer, Tiwa Savage and Yemi Alade, fondly referred to as Mama Africa appears to have deepened as they unfollow each other on Instagram.

 Nigerian Musicians Yemi Alade and Tiwa Savage have not exactly been friends.

While both parties battled for who the Queen of the entertainment industry is, the underground beef recently got fuelled after Yemi Alade’s interview with On Air Personality, Misi of Hot FM.

During the live show, Yemi Alade publicly claimed to be on the same level with Davido and Wizkid, stating that there is no such thing as number one artiste in Nigeria. She also passed up the chance to stand for Tiwa Savage while on a radio show and the presenter talked down at her rival.

Psychic Pig Predicts Nigeria Will Make It To 2018 World Cup Semi-finals

A psychic pig known as Mystic Marcus, which has a 100 per cent track record of predicting sports results according to his owner Juliette Stevens, has predicted which teams will make the semi finals of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

The black micro pig has previously guessed the winner of the 2014 World Cup and the Wimbledon tennis finals by picking apples.

2017 Miss Universe Ghana Contestant Threatens To Sue Websites/Bloggers For Use Of Her Name

In an interesting twist of events, Ms. Cindy Coffee, a 2017 finalist of the Miss Universe Ghana pageant, is threatening legal action against media houses if her images is not taken off stories she was in. This is despite agreeing to terms of the contest, which is a prerequisite for entering.

This is what she sent – and Cypress Ghana got it too;

My name “Cindy Emefa Coffee” in this link should kindly be taken off your website before my legal team takes over.

This is my first request as told to be done as part of protocol by my legal team. Thank you

Checks by us indicate that Cindy Coffee was a contestant for the 2017 edition of the Miss Ghana Universe pageant and represented the Volta Region.

She failed to indicate in her mail, her reason for the instruction for bloggers and websites to drop her name from the links to Miss Ghana Universe stories.

This portal is still checking if there’s any impasse between Cindy and organizers of the pageant, led by National Director, Mrs. Menaye Donkor Muntari – which could have caused her to take this action.

CAF Awards Ghana Snub: Booking Agency Blames Nigerian Organizers

The booking agency for Ghanaian artistes at the just ended CAF Awards has blamed the Nigerian organizers for the way the Ghanaian artistes were treated at the ceremony.

BookMe World Agency’s Gregory Ankrah said his company did no wrong and that things did not go as planned because the Nigerian organizers did not stay on schedule.

“At the awards, even the person who was sharing the water was Nigerian. So many things went wrong on the show,” he told Showbiz A to Z host, Naa Ashorkor.

There has been a public uproar over how Ghanaian artistes were almost neglected at the event which was held on January 4, 2018.

Singer Efya sang the national anthem and while dancehall artiste Shatta Wale was billed to perform, he was unable to, because he was not allowed to do simple sound checks.

Another Ghanaian artiste, Kidi virtually performed to empty seats after the event was over and everyone was filing out.

Gabby Otchere-Darko Describes CAF Awards Snubbing Ghanaian Acts As ‘Pathetic’ & ‘Disrespectful’

Legal practitioner , Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko has joined voiced with many Ghanaians to  slam the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for holding an awards ceremony in  Accra, and snubbing Ghanaian artists for Nigerian stars.

He posted his views on social media,  describing CAF’s actions as ‘pathetic’ and mocking Wizkid’s dressing to the program.

“Almost a perfect programme at the CAF Awards soiled by lack of local content. But, why, they couldn’t find any Ghanaian musician? Pathetic!.” he said.

“CAF was very disrespectful of Ghana tonight by putting up performances from artistes across the continent, including several from Nigeria, and not a single one from Ghana was good enough to be on stage here in Accra? Shocking and, in fact, embarrassing for CAF.

“Instead of treating us to some good Ghanaian performances, as well, CAF decided to populate the stage with Naija ones plus others, including a Nigerian artiste who was dressed as if he lost his way to the gym. I hear he is called Wizkid,” he added.

Ghanaian singer Efya finally bowed out as headliner for the annual all-female concert, Girl Talk, with a bang on Wednesday night. But she was the only woman who turned heads at the event!

Well, controversial musician Emmanuel Owusu-Bonsu, known by his stage name Wanlov the Kubolor attended the all-women’s affair dressed up as a woman as well, perhaps in solidarity with women and issues affecting women, after all he is an advocate on many social issues.

Newscaster, Kemini Nyammani Amanor has rescinded her decision to leave EIB’s Gh One TV, Cypress Ghana is reliably informed.

CEO of EIB Network, Nathan Kwabena Adisi aka Bola Ray according to information available to Cypress Ghana had a closed-door meeting with the news anchor on Wednesday, November 1st,2017 after news broke that she has said goodbye to Gh One and she is heading to Media General’s TV3.

Madam Annor after the meeting with Bola Ray changed plans of leaving Gh One to TV3.

Before her decision to leave EIB, she was the anchor for GHOne’s brunch news, Newsroom where she doubles as a producer.

She’s well known for her story about the rot at the Agriculture Development Bank which ultimately led to the removal of the then Managing Director. In 2014, she was nominated as the Best Television News Anchor in the RTP Awards as well as the Ghana Television Awards.

She’s carved a niche for herself in the media landscape with her alluring smile and unique style of on screen presentation.
