RTP Televison Channel To Launch Soon!!!

The Radio and Television Personality (RTP) Awards is about to add another brand to the Awards.

The RTP TV is intended to project and highlight radio and television personalities, media owners, media managers and unseen staff of Media Houses in Ghana and in other African countries.

RTP Awards, rated the Best Organized Event in Ghana in 2015, is also to launch its Foundation and Magazine, RTP FOUNDATION and RTP MAGAZINE, during the launch of RTP TV.

Hot Gossip : LIVE 91.9 FM Partners Viacom For BET Awards

Live FM's Business Manager, Jay Foley has had past romance with Viacom International Networks, which has seen him cover events such as MTV Europe Awards and the BET Awards. 

So now that he has moved to EIB’s urban youth radio station Live FM , it will not be surprising that he attends this month’s BET Awards for Live FM.

According to sources,  EIB Network is partnering  Viacom International Networks for this year’s BET Awards,  with Live FM playing an active role in this year’s Best International Act: Africa award.

A team from the station will leave Accra for the awards which is taking place in the U.S this month.

Nii Odoi Mensah To Be Buried On Saturday

The late former President of the Ghana Actors Guild, Samuel Nii Odoi Mensah will be laid to rest this weekend.

Executive member of the Actors Guild, Edinam Atatsi told us , that the final funeral rites of the late Actor will commence with a wake-keeping today Friday June 17, 2016, at the forecourt of the Trade Fair Centre, La, Accra.

It will be followed by a church service on Saturday morning at the Presbyterian Church at Adabraka where he served as an Elder.

A memorial and burial service will follow at the forecourt of the Trade Fair after which the late actor will be laid to rest at the La Cemetery on Saturday June 18.

The funeral rites will end with a thanksgiving service on Sunday June 19, 2016.

The Minister of Tourism and Creative Arts, Elizabeth Ofosu Agyare, MUSIGA and colleagues from the Arts and Creative Industry are expected to be in attendance.

Nadia Buari Gives 10% Discount For Golden Movie Awards Tickets

Ghanaian Actress Nadia Buari is giving a 10% discount on tickets for this year’s Golden Movie Awards.

The Golden Movie Awards ambassador stated in an Instagram post that whoever bought tickets to the awards ceremony from her, on Friday, June 17 at the Airport Shell and on Saturday, June 18 at Max Mart, would get the discount.

The Golden Movie Awards which is slated for June 25 seeks to honor outstanding achievement in the African television, digital media and film industries and is administered by the expert in the Cinema & Television.

The Awards recognizes film Excellence in a variety of categories for an international appeal.

‘Adldas’ May Not Be Fake Adidas Brand After All

Stars and more recently Ghanaian stars have been called out on social media for wearing ‘Adldas’ branded apparels deemed as Adidas knock-offs.

But an interesting stocking on the Adidas UK online store may make us rethink what we know about the ‘Adldas’ logo!

Kwaw Kese Receives University Of Cape Coast SRC Award

Ghanaian rapper Kwaw Kese has received an award at the University of Cape Coast (UCC) SRC Innovation and Excellence Awards. 

The ceremony was held at the New Examination Centre (NEC) auditorium on Saturday, April 30.

Kwaw thanked the University of Cape Coast for the honour  on Instagram saying “I appreciate this award very much and would keep working hard to put smiles on the faces of those who need them most.”

Yvonne Nelson Releases Title & Snippets Of Her Upcoming Series

Ghanaian actress, model, film producer and entrepreneur, Yvonne Nelson has released snippets of her upcoming series and also made public for the first time it’s title "Heels & Sneakers".
