Yvonne Nelson Says She’s Single Because Men Are Not Loyal

Actress Yvonne Nelson was on the EFGH show over the weekend, where she talked about her journey through life, career and more.

When asked why she was  single, she disclosed, ”I am single because a lot of men ‘suck’ and ain’t loyal”,  adding that she has a free heart and that she does not have any problems with anyone in Ghana. She said that if anyone has a problem with her, then it’s his/her own issue.

According to the bubbly actress, her glaucoma foundation is a little bit shaky now because there is not enough funding to cater for the victims. She said most of the drugs are very expensive so it has been very challenging for her doing that alone.

She also indicated that the sequel of her previous movie, Single and Married which is titled Single, Married and Complicated will be priemering this August in Ghana and later in September  for Nigeria. The actress, producer and model adviced the youth to take their education very seriously and that education adds value to oneself.

Ebo Whyte Says He Doesn’t Invite Celebrities To His Plays Because They Would Destroy His Shows

Ghanaian playwright and motivational speaker, James Ebo Whyte affectionately  known as Uncle Ebo Whyte, over the weekend made revealing and candid appearance on the ‘At home with Michelle Attoh’ show.

When he was asked by Michelle why he doesn’t invite Ghanaian celebs to his shows, he replied: ”When you start your program late, you show a gross disrespect to the people who have left their homes early to come and watch your play, and whatever the case is, I start my shows at the advertised time. Ghanaian celebs will destroy my show,  this is because the kind of celebrities we have here in Ghana don’t turn out early for shows and I can’t delay the time the show is supposed to get started just because of celebs”.

He further revealed that he failed and suffered a lot when growing up; and through all these, there are lessons that he has picked from what life taught him. Among others, these are some of the lessons he shared on the show:

Chris Attoh Reveals He Hooked Up With Damilola Right From Tinsel Auditions

Actor, Filmmaker and TV Host, Chris Attoh made an appearance on ‘hanging out with KOD’ over the weekend, where he revealed that he and Damilola started dating even before the M-NET produced drama series, Tinsel officially hit the screens. ”We got hooked to each other the very first day we auditioned for Tinsel but we decided to keep it on a quiet note, pretending nothing is really happening between us”.

On how he sees the growth of the Ghana’s entertainment industry, Chris commented:”Ghana has undergone a period of growth and development but what’s still keeping us back is that we choose to focus on the negatives more often. I will really love to see Ghana back on the map and getting Ghana back on the map lies in the hands of the individual citizens of the country”.

Chris Attoh hinted that a good upbringing, being a master of oneself and being ambitious have kept him grounded all these years. He also revealed that among all the musicians in Ghana, he admired multiple award winning songstress, Efya the most. ”I was right there when Efya was made, no direction, nothing but Efya keeps rising and rising day in, day out”.

Peacefmonline reports: Earlier this week, Belinda Nana Akua Amoah aka Mzbel who happens to be the ex-girlfriend of missing Hipife musician Theophilus Tagoe aka Castro, went to the same holiday resort Aqua Safari in Ada where the musician disappeared with Janet Bandu.

It is not clear if Mzbel went to Ada in search of her former lover or she went on holiday but onlookers and sources in Ada have disclosed to Peacefmonline.com that the “Sixteen Years’ hit singer was spotted jet skiing on the same Ada River where Castro’s unfortunate incident happened.

Pictures on Mzbel’s social media pages have further confirmed that she was indeed in Ada after Castro’s incident.

It’s been almost three weeks since the sudden disappearance of renowned Hiplife artiste Castro and his acquaintance Janet Bandu.

Mzbel and Castro de’ Destroyer have done a couple of songs together aside their past romantic attachment during their happy days. She featured Castro on her Domestic Violence song “Sixteen years” and “Yopoo” on the same album, and subsequent songs including “E Dey Be”.

Fatau Dauda Uses World Cup Money To Buy House

Ghana’s goalie, Fatau Dauda has invested his world cup appearance fee into a new house, according to reports. “Because I couldn’t win [a single game at the World Cup and get a winning bonus], I went there [Barclays Legon Branch] to withdraw money and not to deposit money because I didn’t get money,” he told Metro TV’s Sports File program.

“I know people will say we got $100,000. I came home [from Brazil] on a Sunday [June 29th] and rested until Wednesday [July 2nd] when I went to buy a house so that I know that I used the money that I got for something reasonable.”
