AIM NATION Signs Quabena Maphia

AIM NATION MANAGEMENT, Inc., a new music management company, proudly reveals its FIRST artist, officially signed, as none other than Ghanaian Hiplife superstar Nana Kwabena Poku Afriyie popularly known as Quabena Maphia.

The award winning singer/songwriter and AIM NATION have penned a 3-year exclusive representation deal, worldwide, marking a milestone move by the management company. Born and bred in the Ashanti region of Ghana, West Africa, Maphia currently resides in Toronto, Canada, where the enormous strides in he‟s made his career thusfar have singlehandedly paved the success for Afrobeats and Ghanaian Highlife music in Canada and beyond.

His 2012 release „I Go Pay” garnered the multifaceted artist the Ghana Music Award in the same year, for Highlife Song of the Year (for the album‟s namesake single „I Go Pay‟). Maphia has since gone on to work with many of Ghana‟s finest musicians such as, Sarkodie, Reggie Rockstone AJ Nelson, Kesse and Ruff N Smooth, just to name a few. Quabena Maphia‟s trademark honeysweet, buttery vocals bring a crossover appeal that global audiences haven‟t been able to resist, making him a bonafide leader among singer/songwriter peers in the African music industry.
