Fans of Ghanaian dancehall artist Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr., known by his stage name Shatta Wale in New York will not be too enthused at recent developments since they can’t see their artist perform at the much anticipated PlayStation Theatre on July 1 1027, Cypress Ghana can confirm.
The artist in a post on Instagram revealed he’s yet to receive his passport and work permit therefore making it impossible to perform in the city.
He however stated the tour continues in Worcester and Washington DC.

It is unknown if there will be a refund since many had already purchased tickets for the event but a quick check on official ticket outlet suggested the event has been postponed with no date stated yet.
The event was being put together by LVC Entertainment, Boogie Down Nima and TM Entertainment.
