The late former President of the Ghana Actors Guild, Samuel Nii Odoi Mensah will be laid to rest this weekend.
Executive member of the Actors Guild, Edinam Atatsi told us , that the final funeral rites of the late Actor will commence with a wake-keeping today Friday June 17, 2016, at the forecourt of the Trade Fair Centre, La, Accra.
It will be followed by a church service on Saturday morning at the Presbyterian Church at Adabraka where he served as an Elder.
A memorial and burial service will follow at the forecourt of the Trade Fair after which the late actor will be laid to rest at the La Cemetery on Saturday June 18.
The funeral rites will end with a thanksgiving service on Sunday June 19, 2016.
The Minister of Tourism and Creative Arts, Elizabeth Ofosu Agyare, MUSIGA and colleagues from the Arts and Creative Industry are expected to be in attendance.
The body of the Actor arrived from china on board an Ethiopian Airlines Flight on April 30 2016.
Nii Odoi Mensah passed away Tuesday April 12, in China, where he had gone for a transplant after battling kidney disease for several years.
He was 54-years-old.
